Welcome to the 'Castle banquet' and sink your ravenous ears into a delicious 'double helping' of both the debut EP and single by 'Castle De Crux'.
Produced and presented by 'Jokerbats' and 'Exor Magus', it's a sumptuous five-song feast upon the living musical flesh of the dark alternative.
The 'DEMONS WE CREATE' EP overall looks at illness of the mind and how mental problems can grip a victim with an iron claw, resulting in serious problems. It seems that more and more young people are experiencing such problems in modern society. When an eating disorder takes over the life of an individual, the result can be catastrophic and can result in a myriad of devastating problems. From 'malnutrition' to depressive 'dysmorphia' both are part of a confidence-shattering mental illness. EDs can be extremely dangerous, resulting in death if not treated successfully.
In the past, singer Elysia has suffered and recovered from an extensive period of such problems. Now that she is better and has regained health, we are showing that recovery is possible and so worth it.
The 'SO MANY MONSTERS' single speaks separately of how we humans have always done and continue to create the real monsters of this world, and they are everywhere!. From devastating war and violence to pollution and climate change to the unconstrained march of AI to political and religeous hatred to extreme greed for wealth, power and material gain... and so many more.
Monsters made by man are more threatening today than ever before.
